Put Java Games on your Telus Imaged Motorola v710

This tutorial is meant to be used with the Motorola v710.

I keep all my games in a seperate folder (for this tutorial, I’ll call it “TestFolder”). If you don’t like that, just leave out that option when you run the command and it’ll put them in your “Tools” folder.

  1. Download Selector.zip and unzip it into it’s own directory
  2. Copy the .jad and .jar files of the games you want into the selector folder. You can put as many as you want in there, but if your phone runs out of memory, it’ll just fail. You will need .jad files to do this, and there are .jad generators out there, I’ve just never used one
  3. Open a command prompt and navigate to the selector folder
  4. Type this: selector -z restoreme -f TestFolder *.jad
  5. Restore the appdb folder on your phone in bitpim as discussed in the tutorial Enable Java on the Motorola v710 by installing the Telus Mobility OS Step 6

NOTE: Some games simply will not work. Just try other ones
